Juan Antonio López Ramos, es Profesor Titular de Universidad del área de Álgebra de la Universidad de Almería. Finalizó sus estudios de Matemáticas en el año 1995 en la Universidad de Almería y se doctoró en Matemáticas en la misma universidad en el año 1998. Actualmente, sus campos de investigación son la Teoría de Anillos, la Teoría de Códigos y la Criptografía.
