Profesor Titular de Universidad. Profesor del Departamento de Matemática Aplicada II de la Universidad de Sevilla, con docencia en la  Escuela Universitaria Politécnica. Doctor en Ciencias Matemáticas, pertenece al grupo de investigación Juegos en estructuras combinatorias y de orden.  Actualmente ocupa el cargo de Subdirector de Innovación Educativa en la Escuela Universitaria Politécnica. Ha organizado jornadas y cursos-talleres sobre  innovación docente e investigación educativa en la Universidad impulsando un Plan de  Formación del Profesorado  en la EUP.
